Sword Art Online Alicization Light Novel Adeobook Volume 15
Glad to meet more Lite Novel Audiobooks
Bought information technology immediately. Loved that they got the dubbed vox role player for Kirito to do the audiobook. Can't wait for more and promise Yen Audio can also conform in audiobook format the writer's other calorie-free novel, Accel World, besides!

Strong Concept, Rushed Storyline
"Sword Art Online i: Aincrad" is a fascinating light novel with an incredibly unique concept, recognizable characters, and an intriguing storyline. Sword Art Online has an entire anime universe adapting its stories, and while I believe the light novel is ameliorate than the shows, I think in that location are still substantial flaws throughout the book. Namely, the biggest problem is pacing. Without spoilers: the story starts by introducing the readers to the globe, setting up the plot, and establishing characters nicely, and then does everything in its power to blitz toward the end. Nearly details the audience learns about are in passing, and equally a reader, it is hard to connect with what the characters are going through when emotional/personal grapheme bug are presented, this is often the outset time nosotros hear about them. I empathize many of the flashbacks and references considering I watched the anime, withal, for someone reading the light novel without watching the series, many of these references may mean niggling to them. If the story had taken its time, perhaps extending it across a series in chronological order rather than confining it to one volume, connected to build upwards to its chiliad finale, it would take been a significantly ameliorate product. However, the operation past Bryce Papenbrook, the fascinating premise, and the likable characters elevate the story to a solid standing. Reki Kawahara is a talented author, and I look forward to reading/listening to more of his piece of work. I would indeed recommend the volume.

Has some flaws but still recommend
I dear SAO, I've watched the anime all the way through 3 times. The simply gripe that I have about the novel is that information technology skips so many vital parts of the story that information technology kind of ruins the immersion. I am really happy that they were able to go Bryce Pappenbrook to narrate information technology.

Abridged
This only leaves out style too much. The narrator does a expert enough chore. Go option upwardly overlord instead. You'll be far happier for your spent credit.

Bryce'southward performance is a three out of 5
I enjoyed the story, imagery, and pacing. Bryce apparently does a peachy job every bit Kirito, he is Kirito! His Agil and Heathcliff and narration was expert. All the same, that'due south about information technology. His Klein felt off, his growls, screams and other sound effects were meh, and his Asuna felt very very wrong! Obviously having a vox to the characters already didn't aid this. All of that being said, if they put out the other volumes I will likely listen to them.

A 18-carat improvement over the anime
It cuts out all the fluff! No Silica, no Lizbeth, no Yui, and I genuinely believe that's an improvement. It definitely still has some problems, some of which are but the story of SAO, and some of which are the novel dragging a fleck on unnecessary details. Yet, if you're even a mild fan of SAO, then give it a shot!

Revived my love for SAO
Bryce'southward narration made SAO take on a whole new experience! I already loved the SAO serial, and I recently bought the physical novel. Then I saw the audiobook and immediately listened. It was like hearing Kirito on a new level! We got to actually become into his thoughts and feelings about the game: the hardships, the guilt, the fear, and his love for Asuna. It was and so amazing to have another cute way to experience this series!

Waited a long time for this
It was not bad to hear the low-cal novel of this story. The anime was an awesome experience and im glad to meet that it wasn't actually missing very much content. Besides for those who may heed that have seen the anime, the second lite novel actually contains lizbeth, silica and yui's arks as a collection past date storys. So don't expect those in here. Papenbrook is actually a pretty good narrator, female voices are not his affair.

Expert Standard for Light Novel Audiobooks
I'thousand already an SAO fan and have read the first 15 novels in the serial, so this is my second fourth dimension through on this book - and let me say, it was a delight!
I tend to watch subtitles rather than dubs, and so this is my beginning time hearing Papenbrook as Kirito and non only is he smashing in the role (something those who watched the dub already knew), but he'due south also a damned adept audiobook narrator. Non every actor can handle prose, but Papenbrook stands up there with the all-time, in that he navigates his ways through voices without going overboard, he speeds up and slows down reading along with the action, he accents the text at the right points so that fifty-fifty the longer descriptions don't get tiresome. Honestly, if he wants the work I could encounter him having a solid career in audiobook narration.

Awesome to hear Kirito reading equally Kirito, but not some much equally Asuna… 😅
As a hard anime and lite novel fan I absolutely loved this audiobook rendition! My merely complain is Bryce'due south honestly painful rendition of Asuna's voice. Delight oh delight bring in Cherami to handle the female person characters, or any female VA honestly. I know this series is planned to be continued every bit an audiobook, but given how many more female person characters and POVs will be introduced in the adjacent volume alone, please rent a female VA to handle all their voices! Biggest stickler! I know many SAO friends who instantly stopped listening as soon as they heard Bryce's Asuna. I myself powered through, merely but because I already know the story and played this in the background. Otherwise, all of Bryce's work for the majority of the volume, absolutely fantastic job! Great emotion! Dandy story telling! I personally thought Klein'southward vocalization was a little low attempt, but wow some of the voices surprised me as super awesome/well done! Daizan and Nishida were my surprise favourites!
TL;DR: Fantastic job! Except… female/Asuna voice sounding painfully bad! Just rent a female person VA and this would exist a 9/ten, otherwise it's a solid 7/10 for me :D

Bryce narrating this is pure genius
As a massive fan of the SAO series, mainly the Anime side. Having these novels recorded in an audible format is amazing. I've e'er wanted to read the literature behind the anime but I have rubbish attention span when it comes to reading books. Felt like I was missing out as a effect. In addition, having Bryce Papenbrook, narrate this as well, was epic, information technology was such a joy to listen to. Can await to hear novel two!!

Fantastic!
What a amazing book, so 4 seen the anime series and also read the manga just never take I the original story and information technology just brings information technology all to life again, the voice acting was great, nothing I tin can really mutter well-nigh, I remember you reading this even if a get-go fourth dimension seeing it you don't need to lookout it simply mind to this story and so go scout the animated series!
Where information technology all began....
I've been a huge fan of the Anime serial based off this light novel series since it aired fashion back when. Sadly though as a blind 'reader' I was unable to access the source fabric....until now!
Getting to read the story of SAO every bit it was written is and so much fun, especially every bit it is narrated by the voice player who voices Kirito (main protagonist) in the Anime accommodation. Actually gives it a cornball feeling getting to hear his phonation again reliving some iconic scenes from the evidence just also giving the states a more than in depth expect into Kirito as a person and why he acts how he acts. Sadly though, like the adaptation, the story arch for this chapter in the overall series is a bit brusque for me. Information technology has a huge bear upon and does feel natural to stop the way it does....notwithstanding I would have liked to see the story spread over several books with more exploration of the early days of the game.
Apart from that though, its a nifty, thrill ride of a heed and equally I mentioned earlier, the vocalisation interim for the narration is outstanding. Y'all tin can really immerse yourself in the world of SAO through Papenbrooks commitment. Can't wait to listen to the rest of the serial as is drops novel by novel!
Nice
Skillful shit, liked it afterward watching the anime. Hopefully they record the whole serial equally audiobooks
Good Story, OK performance.
The narrator was really good only having him vox the female characters was a mistake and massively took me out of the story.
I've heard they become the female voice actor from the anime for vol.2 onwards and so that should be a huge improvement!
adept series
loved it could of used a female voice player for the female roles but otherwise really good
loved it...
Fantastic audio book and pure genius to get Bryce Papenbrook to narrate this. I hope they make more.
An insightful expect into the world of SAO
I thought this audio book was bright, Kirito's voice actor did a good task reading this. Unlike other reviewers I didn't think his rendition of Asuna or other female characters was bad-mannered or hard to heed to, I felt he did well with Asuna. The only parts I didn't like of his narration was the yelling for characters too Kirito during the action moments, but oh well they were brief.
Information technology was neat getting a more than detailed view of the world of SAO, though I was suprised to learn the calorie-free novel omitted many characters and scenes from the anime, I approximate they came in side stories or something.
